Curry Staff Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Curry School of Education's Staff Advisory Committee is to advise the Dean's Office and Administrative Committee and to assist in developing plans or processes which will enhance or address the needs and concerns of a productive and professional work environment and climate for all classified staff members affiliated with the Curry School.

Bobbie Gallo was chosen Chair, Brenda Kelley will be Co-Chair and Crystal Haislip will be the Corresponding Secretary.
The Committee has begun to compile a list of possible projects, speakers, brown bag meetings and a retreat for discussion and planning. The Committee welcomes and encourages any and all suggestions from the Curry staff as we seek some informative and educational topics. We would appreciate ideas being shared with any of the members of the Committee through personal conversation or emails. Shortly, we will be mailing out a hard copy message with a response card that allows for suggestions or questions.

2009-2010 Activities
Curry Staff Retreat, Friday, October 23, 2009
Participants will meet in the plaza between Newcomb Hall and the Bookstore at 8:30. There will be a tour of the Harrison Institute, the Rotunda, and the Lawn, followed by lunch in the Pavillion III garden (Dean Pianta's home). At 1:30 participants will assemble in a Memorial Gym meeting room for activities to be lead by Professor Bob Covert. The retreat day will end at 3 PM.
