CLASS OF 2004

Kevin Burcham
I'm teaching in Roanoke County at Cave Spring Middle School and I'm coaching varsity boys basketball at Hidden Valley High School. Everything is going really well and I love the area...the people are awesome (very nice and lots of fun people to hang out with) and there is a lot to do.

Liz Burnette
I am teaching health and physical education at an independent school in Atlanta, Ga (Westminster). In addition, I am coaching varisy girls soccer and basketball. It's busy but I am loving it!

Shannon Carlin
I am teaching at Graland Country Day school (K-9) in Denver, Colorado. I'm teaching elementary PE and coaching middle school field hockey and basketball. I love my job and my school. Denver is awesome!

Anna Crosswhite
Howdy from sunny southern England. I am at Bryanston School. It's a co-ed boarding school for students 13-18. I am teaching PE and some life skills. I am also living in one of the girls’ houses. I am also coaching u15 hockey right now with some netball next term. I am also running a basketball extra curricular activity since no one does it here.

Emily White
I'm a full-time teacher at Christ Church Grammar School (www.ccgs.vic.edu.au), a private Anglican primary school located just outside of Melbourne in South Yarra, a very ritzy suburb. I teach 3 year old kindergarten to year 6 students (though mainly 3-y-o to year 1s) in physical education, perceptual motor programme (for 3-y-o to year 1), and sport. I also coach the school hockey and handball teams. I'm learning to play touch rugby and Aussie rules football (footy), as well as keeping up a rigorous hockey schedule. I play club hockey for the Powerhouse/ St. Kilda Hockey Club in State League One, as well as for the Victorian state women's indoor (and hopefully outdoor!) teams. Next year I'll be possibly doing some outdoor ed and health ed as well.

Martha Williams
I'm teaching PE part-time at Brownsville Elementary School in Crozet (part of Albemarle Co.). So far things are going well and the students are great. The principal in my school feels strongly that students have pe everyday if possible. Grades K-3 have pe every day but 4 and 5 have it 4 days a week.

CLASS OF 2003

I am an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. My wife, Liz, and I both work at the university and love it. I have great students and am enjoying my career very much.

Note: Congratulations to Steve who was awarded the College of Health and Human Sciences Award for Teaching at Georgie Southern. What an accomplishment in just his second year in higher education! We are proud of you, Steve!
