The University of Virginia offers a five-year dual-degree (BA/MT or BS/MT) Teacher Education Program, planned and operated cooperatively by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Curry School of Education. Students apply for admission by March 1 of their second year of enrollment. At that time, they must have completed or be enrolled in EDIS 2010 (Teaching as a Professionand) and EDIS 2880 (Field Experience).
