On-Grounds Programs

1.  Ed. D. Programs--January 5

2.  Ph. D. Programs--January 5

3.  Master of Teaching (licensure) programs--March 1

4.  Applications to most M.Ed. and Ed.S. programs--October 15 for spring entry or March 15 for summer or fall entry.  Exceptions to these rules are listed below:
      a.   M.Ed., Counselor Education--February 1
      b.  M.Ed., Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAPHE)--February 1 (summer entry)
      c.  M.Ed., Communication Disorders--February 1
      d.  M.Ed., Kinesiology (Athletic Training)--February 1 (summer entry)

5.  Endorsement-only program in Administration and Supervision--October 15 for spring entry or March 15 for summer or fall entry.

Off-Grounds Programs

Applicants to licensure/endorsement and degree programs must submit all materials by October 15 (spring entry), March 15 (summer entry) and July 1 (fall entry).  Check the web site for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies for more information about the ability of programs of study at each of the centers: Central Virginia, Northern Virginia, Southwest, Hampton Roads, Richmond, Roanoke.
